Run a great social event

Concerts, parties, college fests and cultural shows — sell tickets, take UPI & card payments, check guests in by QR, and keep everyone updated on WhatsApp, email and SMS.

1

Create your social event & open ticket sales

From signup to selling in a day.

  1. Sign up free and click Create Event.
  2. Enter your event name, venue, date and time, and add a banner and promo video.
  3. Pick your theme colours and font to match your event's vibe.
  4. Add at least one ticket type, then Publish to go live and start selling.
2

Set up ticket types & pricing

Early-bird, tiers and passes.

  1. Open the event's Tickets step and click Add new ticket.
  2. Name the ticket (e.g. Early Bird, General, VIP) and set the price and quantity.
  3. Set the Sales Start and Sales End dates to open and close each tier automatically.
  4. Set min/max per order, then save. Set the price to 0 for a free entry pass.
3

Accept UPI & card payments

UPI/QR with 0% card fee.

  1. Open your event's Payment settings.
  2. Connect RazorPay for cards/netbanking, or enable direct UPI/QR payment.
  3. Choose who absorbs the gateway fee — you or the buyer.
  4. Save and publish; guests can now pay online.
Direct UPI/QR payments carry no Tickets99 payment-gateway fee — great for keeping ticket prices low on social events.
4

Create discount codes

Reward groups and early buyers.

  1. Open Coupon Codes for your event.
  2. Enter a title and choose Percentage or Amount off.
  3. Set an activation and expiry date, a max discount cap and a usage limit.

  2. Add tickets to the cart with the +/− steppers.
  3. Collect payment (cash/UPI) and click Proceed.

6

Check guests in with QR at the gate

Fast entry from a phone.

  1. Open Quick Check-in in the Tickets99 app and confirm the event.
  2. Scan the guest's QR ticket, or search by name, phone or order ID.
  3. Confirm the match and check them in.
  4. Run multiple entry points at once for big crowds, and print badges at the desk if needed.
