About Event

overview: Kudremukh, literally meaning Horse's face gets its name because of the unique structure of the mountain. A trek of moderate difficulty, yet, it is one that will help you relax. The flora of the place is so beautiful, that it will truly help you enjoy the beauty of nature.


This trek, which starts from Bangalore, consists of not just the trail that you go through but also grasslands and woodlands, where you can spend an amazing time.


Enjoy hiking to the third highest peak of Karnataka- Kudremukh at a height of 6,207 feet.


Catch a beautiful glimpse of the Kudremukh Peak as well as Shola woodland.


Travel through grasslands, woodland, and plenty of small streams at the same time while you go on an exciting trek.


Experience the Kudremukh Trek with the help of a guide and experience a bonfire at night with your friends.

Itinerary


Day 1: Journey from Bangalore


  • Take an overnight journey from Bangalore on friday.


Day 2:


  • Reach early at Samse and from here continue to base in a jeep, where you will be freshening up and having a hot breakfast.
  • Post breakfast, get ready to start the trek after getting your lunch packed.
  • Walk through the tropical rainforests, across a few water streams, small waterfalls, green meadows till you reach the top of the peak.
  • At Kudremukh peak, witness the beauty of the whole region and start descending.
  • Freshen up and have a sumptuous dinner following which, relax by the bonfire.
  • Overnight stay at homestay.


Day 3: Return and Departure


  • After breakfast, following which you will be checking out of the homestay and visit Belur one of the finest examples of Hoysala architecture & begin the return journey.
  • Back to Bangalore with lots of memories
  • Total Trek distance: 22 Kms, Level of Trek : Moderate.

  • Raincoat/Poncho (during monsoon)

  • Full sleeve cotton t-shirt (to avoid getting sun burnt)
